Fitness, good health and vitality are hugely important to my life, I’m passionate about how eating well and a sufficient level of exercise can increase and support the extension of life and the ability to live and move to ones’ fullest potential.

To begin with, going to the gym was out of wanting to feel and look better to myself and for my wife, to better manage my mental health through physical activity and so on, but as I gained more knowledge around fitness training and then nutrition, I began to see just how important exercise and nutrition are and how a host of health issues can be avoided.

Weight management and Functional training in the sense of training to make the tests of everyday life easier has appealed to me over anything else. I reflect on the lifestyle of great men of the past and how they would strive with wealth and body to achieve great goals. Functional training to me is about empowering clients to live independent lives and to live longer, this is why training functionally is my favourite style of training.

Motivating, coaching and nurturing clients in a structured, methodical, informed, educated and engaging manner is what sets me apart from the gym buddy, instructor and personal trainer. I don’t take on more clients than I can handle because I want to impact lives positively, long term, not for quick money.

A student of Personal Training as well as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I am not afraid to challenge myself and encourage clients to think in a similar way when it comes to battling health issues.
